Have seen the dog scoot across the carpet, sniff it, bark at me and ps off outside.

No clue what was going on.

Our cat does that, I have nothing to do with it, the wife feeds him, pets him, etc but he won’t sit on her, only me. Like to watch football too.

He sits in some funny positions too.
His latest trick is to sneak upstairs in the evening and open all the draws on the divan. It’s a nuisance if you then walk in to the bedroom without turning the light on and walk in to the open draw.

Ferris Mewler is a rescued farm cat - we found her half conscious in the garden aged about 2.5 weeks. so, she was never weaned and is a bit of a character. I am convinced my cat has apsergers.

Every 5am she walks into the bedroom and jumps up and sleeps on the wife, never me. At night, she crawls under the duvet and sleeps next to me, never the wife. She is not a cat to pet, pick up or stroke. She likes to know we are around but at the same time, no fks are given.

She comes in from a day of mousing, sniffs her food and takes to her bed bang on 6pm. At 9pm, comes downstairs and attacks the wingback chair - you can set you watch by it.

Here's the knobhead having taken to her bed

and here, she is working from home. She also sits on the coffee table to watch the football.

My 3 year old dog (beagle), quite hyperactive. At evenings, she is full on chilling mode on our sofa. If me, my wife or friends, talk to each other loudly after 9.00 p.m., she makes funny noises and starts barking at us to tell us "shut up, I'm sleeping". laugh

Quite a character, and absolutely spoiled.

I did my first all grain brew on Saturday.

My Lakerland terrier must have been able to sense that the mash was food/nourishment and decided to 'guard' it as it steeped for an hour - growling and attacking the feet of anyone who approached it - truly bizarre behaviour to see!

I then spilled some of the wort onto the floor and she went mad lapping it up until the floor was almost polished.

The odd thing is something was sending her mad before she even got a taste, ...must have been the malty aroma. The other dog, a Welshie, took no interest but he once spat out a bit of raw fillet steak I gave him so is a bit weird generally about food.

My 18 month old Jack Russel X likes to remove the middle part of the shower drain and bring it down stairs to us. If the shower door is slid closed but we leave the bathroom door open he will paw at the shower door and whine trying to get at it.
Another strange habit he has is with a lump of hard Cheese chew thing we got him. It seems to be his most favorite possession and he like's to hide it in various places. We won't see it for days then he will disappear upstairs and come down with it to show it to us. He will then play with it for a bit then try and hide it down the side of "his" sofa or take it back upstairs to his bed.
