Finally persuaded the other half to get a dog after 20 years of trying... I think her HRT hadn't kicked in and it was a moment of weakness.
So I seized my opportunity to show her lots of cute dog pics and we went so see the white one and ended up with them both (sisters) as the black one was the last of the litter and would have been all on her own!
So two months on its still as chaotic and a real learning curve, but they make up for it by being cute for 5 minutes a day in between beating each other up.

What an ace pair! Two of my whippets are litter brothers, they've never spent a day apart. They go at each other hammer and tongs when out playing, you'd think murder was being done. Then back home they cuddle up and clean each other's ears and face. I found two puppies more than twice the work of one. So rewarding though.
