Thanks for the messages everyone.

He had a decent night… scoffed breakfast and has taken position on the sofa. Little bit of a wander about the garden just now… he is breathing quite deeply ….. sounds quite rattly too.

He has hardly any coordination with his back legs… hate to say this but I am starting to think sadly Monday might be the day. At least we are both off work on Monday.

The vet said yesterday he was not necessarily in pain or suffering but was probably very depressed. That really shook me!

Sky is 16 years old today, bit of a limp, Cushings under control, various benign skin tumours, but still enjoying being a pain in the bum when my wife is cooking. Nearly deaf, eyesight not too clever, but her nose still works 100%.
