Can I ask where you got that please?
Amazon, the exact ones seem to be discontinued as I can’t see them anymore.

The raised, tilted bowls arrived yesterday so we used them for the first time this morning. Cats don't seem impressed, they're not keen to eat today. Wondering if they might just take a little time to get used to this idea?

Cats can be irked by changes, even little ones. Give them a few days.

Indeed. Sometimes it’s a case of “tough st guys, the lovely food you like is in a slightly different bowl”

They’ll deal with it very quickly if they’re hungry.

Thanks. I did wonder if the smell of new plastic was putting them off perhaps. Other thing is, it's a food flavour they've been a bit hot and cold on lately. At least they haven't made much mess with their food today smile

Keep cleaning the old food out and new food in as per your normal routine, which I’m sure you know anyway, but obviously cat food left out all day isn’t appealing.

Will do. Cat food is normally gone within about an hour of being put out so this is unusual!

Any progress or are they still on hunger strike?

The eldest would pick slowly at it but the youngest was essentially just not eating. The previous dishes were very shallow, the ones in the set we bought are much deeper and spherical, wonder if they were just bothering her whiskers too much. The other thing was that the dishes on the stand are very close together, maybe that was putting them off eating at the same time.

We've ordered a couple of individual dishes which look a lot shallower, until they arrive we've reverted to the previous bowls for now. Fussy sods...

We have these for our old timer, we got them from Argos. She seems to eat out them reasonably well with no problems or mess.

If only there was a simple way to pick up the errant cat food pieces. Someone should invent fingers.
My god why didn't I think of that... rolleyes
It’s the most useful job our Border Terrier does.
Cats food is in bowls on plastic mat thingy. Whole mat plus bowls put on floor after cat is bored of eating.

We got these, which we use with our own bowls (we use shallow wide ones that are like a deep saucer) as the ones supplied have corners.

It’s reduced the puking; we can separate them & it’s stoped most of the food to floor ratio

Beauty (the blind one) still picks it up out of the bowl, moves back & eats what she can find off the floor though 🤣

We could always tell when our old fella was still hungry, he used to rattle the bowl in the stand until we gave in and give him another pouch! biggrin

I bought these since the ceramic ones keep getting knocked off shelves and broken (cats are fed separately at various heights):

So far so good, everything eaten since the cats can get into the 'curves' of the bowl.
