Off topic I know, but when my daughter (now 12) was little, she was scared of spiders. Through luck rather than judgement, I told her to be kind to them as they are all called Gerald, even the girls (causing much confusion) and it actually worked

Evening everyone, who can help identify this monster living in my back garden.

Sorry for the crappy pic, but he only ever comes out at night and his web is like a funnel that his legs just stick out of.

That's the hinge of my patio door I can never open again.

Labyrinth spider by the looks of it.

Just been reading about Tube Spiders. Apparently house infestation is likely.

Goodnight.

If I were you I’d be buying myself a few cans of the strongest spider killing spray as possible, getting very drunk and going on a rampage.

Haha. My 4 year old thinks all spiders are called derek.

In fact, sometimes she'll still say she's drawn a derek rather than a spider.

Doesn't,'t work with wasps though, they'd all be Adolph...
