Loads in my house - old property, part thatched. Goes with the teritory and in the main they hide away keeping out of our way.

Got loads of really dark glossy black ones that live in holes in my brick wall/airbricks - they linger half out of their holes at night, creepy.

Googled - tube web spiders?! They don’t look normal!
They are the f**king worst. Absolutely disgusting and aggressive with it.

I really, really, really don’t like them.

P.S. do you live in or near a port town? Apparently the European variant came in on boats.
They grow up to a shocking and terrifying... 22mm. hehe

I'm quite happy to have spiders living in my house. They leave me alone while catching and eating all the nasties that like to bite, sting and make annoying buzzing noises. The more spiders the better (up to a point) as far as I'm concerned.

I lived near the beach in Australia for 7 years.

Friggin‘ venomous sh!ts (white tail spiders) were everywhere.

My friend had a farm inland. One wall of one hay shed was home to 1000‘s of black widows.

It’s the snakes that you should actually worry about.
