Multi dog insurance

Didn't know this was a thing, but just got the renewal quotes through from Petplan for Meg (13yo husky/lab) £940, Dot (8yo lab) £1168 & Pip (3yo springer lab) £740, so nearly £2500 for all 3! Cover is £4000 per illness per year on full life. Without tempting fate other than spaying we have only ever had 1 x-ray between the lot of them.

A quick scan on Compare the market comes up with the same cover from Frank or Wag & Whistle for ~£1650, does anyone use them at all & made a claim?
