How old is she?

7ish, can't remember exactly. She was fine until recently as she used to come when called(or get off the sofa when told!). Now you can walk right up behind her and she has no idea until you touch her. It must be her own snoring that has deafened her smile

rofl Tell me about it. Never wake themselves up do they!

Sonny has also progressively got worse. He used to come when called or told to 'fetch the ball'. Now I have to wave my arms around like Magnus Pyke.

Most dogs have words they recognise, if Im in the next room and whisper walkies/biscuit/rabbit or a few others at least two of ours come storming in, what does your dog respond to best?

also, try a whistle or clicker, or bang the letterbox if the dogs asleep...
