More likely Buzz has clicked that (1) you take him nice places (like the beach) and (2) you like nice cars therefore, in his doggy brain, a nice car = going to a nice place!

Fantastic pice... I have a 2yr old Springer and will post some pics asap. A question for the owners of older springers....................... Do they calm down with age????????????
generally start to calm down in their third year, but they'll always be a bit mental smile
Cheers Stu, I love him to bits and love his tempremant but when he has a mad hour and half he is just crazy. I have heard varying reports that if I had him "done" that would help?
Made naff all difference to ours.

Still mad as a box of testicles.

Great thread this!!!!!!

Some of these images look good enough to go in our Dog Breed Calendars.

Keep them coming

In their prime about six years back. Lost Bex (lying down) last Christmas a week shy of her 14th birthday.
Her two daughters are still here.

Once gone there will be no more dogs for me.
Too painful when they go... still choke up about Bex cry

Broc, Weebl and Bryn. Broc is standard short-haired dacshund whilst Weebl & Bryn are minature short-haird and yes, they are fully grown!

That was Stanley, our rescue Lab who died last december.

Can't say we've had ours done, and don't plan to, but I've heard much the same - makes little if any difference. I think it's just a trait of the breed. Ours gets a lot of exercise, more than most non-working dogs I suspect, and still has mad half hours. Can't say I mind them at all, keeps you young hehe

One thing that did wear very thin, very fast, was the amount of destruction you'd be faced with when you leave him at home by himself, but he's stopped doing that in favour of some more vocal sulking.
