he is stunning they are so loving, affectionate, are sure they are lap dogs and smile at you so much. smile
yes they are lovely and all have own personality.
lara, 2007 she suffered with a brain tumour but one vets were treating her for arthritus (sorry cant spell) it took months of telling them it was more than that and something more was wrong with her frown
Then January they sent her for MRI scan at a different vets and that day we were told the news... had about 2weeks to treat her and spoil her even more and had last Sunday family trip to the beach with all 6 of us, then on on the Wed it was time to take her to the vets and cuddle her as she went.
She came home and was buried. frown
people have pets and people have families,
mine are part of my family always

the children took to sleeping downstairs with her as she couldnt get up the stairs

returning home from last beach trip with her
Sorry for the loss you’re your beautiful boxer. Your story is so so sad, I wish I could have just one more moment with my boxer, Chester aka “chesty no nuts” (his balls never dropped). He was the most loving dog, and had such a wonderful personality. Then also in 2007 he just got up and took himself for a walk (never ever, ever did he go off on his own) and died of natural causes in a field, 1 mile down the road from our house.

A member of the public found him and the police picked him up and took him to the police kennels for us to reclaim his body. It was the saddest moment in my life.
We had 12 happy years together and he can never be replaced.

I am now pretending to have something in my eye, to try and explain to my office buddies why my eyes are watering so much.

we had him from a pup, he was a huge part of our lives for 14 years, sadly his last visit to the vets was 3 weeks ago, loved him, love him, miss him.

Beautiful, I'm gutted for you. 14 years of love though.
thank you Chilli, never had children so he was our boy, cant believe how much we miss him frown

as a pup

later & always needed his eyes cleaning, even after his cosmetic face / eye lift hehe

This is my Staffie, Poppy. Small pup, through young adult when sadly she had Demodex and lost most of her hair, through to her now. Yes, I have a Staffie called Poppy, she's a pet, not a chav-tastic status symbol.

Love this thread, here are my lot:

Charlie, 7 year old boxer and Bonnie, 3 year old French Bulldog

The newest member of our fur family - Spike - 7 month old English Bulldog - he is going to be a bruiser!

Gone but not forgotten - my beloved Molly, loyal friend who lost her battle with cancer a year ago aged 11 years

My two Parson Russell terriers. Milo (the white one) had been in and out of dog homes for the whole of his life and was pretty tattered, that is up until 6 years ago when we got him. He now has a big garden to run around in and cause havoc terrorising the local wildlife. smile
