Looks like a proper Netherland Dwarf in your last pic, hope he is doing well now. Feisty breed but a lot of character.

What type of bird is it?
he's a south american green cheeked cross cinamon conure. there a small breed parrot. grows to be about 14 inches.

So we had to get another rabbit to keep him company, and this is Wilma, a rather cheeky french lop, and semi-house trained.
Is it possible to introduce a new, younger rabbit to a house that has an older monster (but gentle, really) of a rabbit without scraping bits of the newcomer off the walls?

It should be. Do it on neutral ground (ie a room that doesn't smell of either of them) and keep watch.

It was something we were very wary about, but as above, we took both of them to the spare room, so they had eye contact, sat them near eachother but kept hold of them. We were very lucky though - Bams was so upset he just wanted company, and they've been very close from within an hour or two of meeting. This is the exception rather than the rule - we were expecting up to a few weeks of bonding!

Maybe, but I bet they tasted great. getmecoat
My duck was eaten by aunt many years ago after my sisters had been eaten by a fox, she said it would have been cruel to have left just one, apparantly it was lovely.

Your aunt ate your duck, weird but I get that bit. But then your sisters were eaten by a fox? That's horrible, tragic and funny at the same time...

I think we were quite lucky too as after an initial bit of chasing they became best friends and never leave each others side now. Total process took a few hours. It's going to be bloody awful when one goes as they are so close frown

Oh my dear Lucy. Your rabbit, I shall call him Lord Coconut Marshmallow of Smowflake II, has given me such a look of disdain I feel quite dirty.

These are my two rabbits Sweep and Soo.

I should add that I'm not queer or a girl, I love my rabbits they have such a brilliant character, they are both very clean, easy to look after.

Soo is a recent addition from a rescue centre.
Aww frown I'm so bent sometime lol.

They will respond to their names after a while. I can get my two to come individually when I call them (but not at the moment as they are curled up asleep by my feet)

Rabbits are much brighter than people give them credit for smile
My two know their name, they will even jump on the couch and watch telly with me.......worrying lol

This unusual pet eats lentils and spits and hisses a lot.....

Doesn't like going walkies, so we have to drag her through the fields with a quad bike...

Sounds harsh, I know, but, if she doesn't get exercise she gets even fatter than this and her farts turn from nasty to absolutely evil....

Keeps us amused for hours, but she's getting on a bit now... really dreading the time when we have to put her to sleep.
