One of our 2 cats has managed to wreck the seat of my Fireblade by 'kneading' the seat and letting it's claws puncture the seat in many places.

Does anyone know any good cat recipes for the webber? smile
May I suggest the use of one of those sonic cat frighteners? One of my cats took to sleeping on the bonnet of my M, covering it with muddy paw prints and a nice foot long scratch. I now have such a device (15 quid on ebay) and he doesn't go there anymore. It doesn't hurt them, but they do avoid the immediate area.

It went away for a few days then returned, much as before. Still attacking the other cats and lurking. Its now taken to sitting my kitchen window sill. Seems to be there every time I go in the kitchen. Seems happy enough, just sitting and watching. It disappears from time to time to attack some insect or leaf, then returns.

Seeing as its black, does it think my wife is a witch?

Look, you've been adopted, just accept it and put the food out.... May as well get a cat flap too.

Cat flap not a chance. A neighbour has one and his house regularly fills up with holidaying cats even though it is only supposed to operate for his.
