What age? A 13 year old will want a very different holiday to a 19 year old (well, not strictly true, but legally they'll get more out of different holidays IYSWIM).

I would have said Tenerife and take them here: http://www.motocross365.com/ but I fear it may have closed down.

Disneyland (Eurodisney on the eurostar via Paris maybe)

Edit: just saw the no-fly criteria. How about:
UK-based, how about http://goape.co.uk/ in a range of locations across the UK
Or, Centreparcs

15 & 16....

I'm finding that they will be classed as adults pretty much wherever they go now anyway so that point is irrlevant I suppose...

ski-ing, never done it so not sure about that one.

A new year cruise would be nice but jeez they are expensive....

Get them on planks...I can't imagine two teenage boys on a cruise! High risk strategy.

Eurostar to Paris then to pigale? Teenagers would love it.

Edit:
Cruise may work, but if it doesn't it is, as mentioned, a very high risk strategy.

How about overlanding in a landrover to morocco?

Leave them at home and go on your own, they will have more fun and so will you!

ok so we've done some thinking or i've done some thinking at yes a cruise would be nice. santander 4 night for 4 adults would be about £1200 including xmas dinner which is cool.

but the home consensus is that we've done cruises and going somewhere different would be nice

can anyone suggest a new york place to stay which if we get flights ? budget max of about 2 grand full stop + spends on top of course...

thanks

Go to a 'Christian' country and it'll be closed though?

Expedia is just a travel agent.

I tend to book all my travel independently but on the one occasion I booked a hotel through them, it turned out to be entirely missold (sold on the basis of attractions which had closed some years previously) and couldn't give a st when challenged.

back to square one.

Options please.

Sharm el Sheik? is it safe with everything else that is going on?

Prague - will two teenage boys have stuff to do?

Budapest? as above really...

Does Rome effectively shut for christmas?

Vegas - looks too expensive again...

:sigh:

If you think a cruise is expensive don't even bother pricing up skiing over Christmas with 4 adults (as mentioned your kids are classed as adults).

AFAIK, this year there are some good deals....

Mind you. No snow yet hehe
So might be a nice walking holiday then. smile

Just going from when my wife went last year to Meribelle (sp?).

There were 12 of them and they tried to do it as cheap as possible but just to get there stay and hire skis + lift passes it was over a grand, she didn't tell me how much she spent whilst there but every day they had lunch in some nice cafe and then apre ski, not cheap.

Cruise sounds good. My cousin used to go alot with her 2 lads when they were similar age to your 2 and they never saw them most of the time. they palled up with other teenagers who didn't want to be seen with their parents, not cool evidently! Just keep an eye on that bar bill!

I think Sharm is a good shout, at this time of year weather is lovely. How about Dubai? Water parks and stuff for the kids and you can relax? Should be able to get a good deal also
