Gite with Pool in mid France Personal Recommendations anyone
Discussion
Hi all,
was wondering whether the PH masses can come up trumps with a personal recommendation on a Gite with a pool en France I've scoured the various websites and am struggling to find one that is a compromise between cost and well... frankly looking a bit crap!
I'd really like to be not too far from the coast (on the coast tends to be expensive), mid way down France so not too much driving and hopefully the weather would be better than Brittany. Needs 3 beds (2 at a push with a sofa bed in the lounge) and to be nice and hopefully modern inside as this will be a lazy holiday spending a lot of time at the Gite/poolside rather than a sight seeing one. I'd prefer exclusive use of the Pool. Freeview or similar would be good too
Looking for 3 weeks in school summer holidays 2012
Recommendations welcomed

I can recommend this place : http://www.chatenet.co.uk/ Gets booked up very quickly though.
A guy I worked offshore with has this place. Not been to it myself but people who have say that it is fantastic.

Hi mate
This place is owned by one of my oldest friends and I've been there many times ranging from early June through early September and I've always had an incredibly relaxing and reinvigorating time. Weather has always been great too! Loads of space and sleeping flexibility, nice and private and in a really quiet, rural setting.
Don't know if its exactly what you'd need but highly recommended by me! Only 2 hours away is LaRochelle and the wonderful Ile de Ray if you want to go to the beach, but to be honest we spend most of our time lazing by the pool or playing tennis, cycling about etc etc.
Anyhow here's the link:

Not too near the sea but there's a massive inland lake with a beach about three miles away. They'll also put you in touch with a chef who'll come in and cook when you fancy a lazy evening
