Hotel in Delhi

Wondering if any PHers could recommend a hotel in Delhi? The good lady and I are going out trekking for a couple of weeks, but have a night at either end where we need our own accommodation before/after the group we're with.
Since our anniversary is the day we arrive I wanted somewhere a bit lux as a nice surprise and likewise somewhere to chill for the last afternoon before an 8 hour flight home.
Close to IGI would be an advantage for transfers as we land in Delhi at midnight and fly out again at 8am, but it's not mandatory by any stretch.

There really is no choice here you must try THE LEELA PALACE it is the best hotel I have ever stayed in and ideal for an anniverary.Book through their own website.If you want cheap and cheerful the Le Roi serves its purpose for not much money even if the surounding area is a bit rough.
I stayed at the Imperial last year, very grand. It has a great restaurant and a relaxed bar which will give you maximum comfort and service.
