Hi Guys

My membership year runs out on 8 June, and I will make the flight which gives me enough tier points from Silver to Gold on 6 June.

Do you know if that is enough time for their systems to be updated for me to get Gold status?

Cheers

You should be able to speak to them and they should be able to override the system if it's not quick enough. You made the flight in the timescales they set so they must honour it.

You can sometimes give them a call and explain that you are very close. I was 20 points shy 1 year and they were very helpful

It goes on the time flight is taken, not credited. If it doesn't credit in time and your year resets give them a call and they will correct it.

Well done! Now with Gold instead of Silver you can - errr . . . . I forget, since they took away the lounge access when not travelling BA, what IS the advantage??
