Would recommend cagdwith itself, a pretty little fishing village with a very authentic feel. We always make a point of visiting when at the lizard.
Second this advice - try and catch the village when the Mullet catch is coming in, the whole place goes crazy. Its beautiful and well worth a visit.

As already said above I'd also suggest pretty much anywhere along the Helford River - its beautiful.

The Three Mackrel just outside Falmouth is great for a sunny afternoon drink or evening cocktails.

The Pandora on the Fal Estuary has just reopened after it burnt down a couple of years ago. Apparently they've restored it beautifully and its worth a visit smile

Enjoy

Chapel Porth and Sennen Cove are my favourite beaches, it's always good to chill in a harbour and go crabbing with a few beers, and Geevor(sp) tin mine is a cool visit if that's your thing.

On the way there, stop at Smokey Joes in Scorrier, near Redruth for a Hungrymans breakfast.

Proper truckers cafe with decent food.

Porthleven is nice, just near Helston.

There are so many nice little coves, just drive and find somewhere!!

Another vote here for Goonhilly.

Also, this place:

http://www.theportwilliam.co.uk/

is a great pub in a spectacular location.

I'd also recommend visiting Tintagel Castle and Porthleven. Do the King Harry Ferry as well, after walking around Mevagissy.

Certainly did! But still awesome to drive past and just see those dishes, they're monsters.

Well you can't really miss them! hehe They used to have a visitors centre, I can remember going there as a teenage lad and talking with my sister using two mini satellite dishes pointed at each other over quite a distance.

We've been to Geevor, I loved it but mrs hated it. Cadgwith is a definite, never been before. Shame about Goonhilly, is the site fully closed now?

Culdrose is also somewhere driven past but never thought more about, will look into that.

Really liking the idea of a boat up the Helford & Fal, can't believe I never thought of it before.

There's still a museum and exhibition centre at Goonhilly (or at least there was last year!)

The website says it's all closed, haven't they dismantled a lot of what was there now?

Culdrose is good, the tour is interesting, when we went we had one of the ASR guys come on the bus for a chat, really informative and very honest.

Alao you can have a cup of tea watching the Merlins go in and out, Hawks popping off to Wales and best of all sample some of the home made food, it is really really good stuff!!

Tintagel Castle is certainly worth a look.

I found Mousehole a very quaint town.

The Tate at St Ives is probably worth a visit too.

Eden Project was imo very overrated and expensive.
