Weekend in Bristol

I know there's a thread somewhere but despite searching I can't find it.

Off to Bristol with the OH this weekend, looking for the 'must do' things while we're there. We have been before but didn't do any of the museums or galleries so looking to do that this time. We have tickets for a comedy thing at Colston Hall on saturday night.

I have downloaded a couple of iPhone apps but a bit of local knowlewdge can be a powerful thing!

Find Park St in the centre and turn left half way up, walk 300yrds along and enter a park with Cabot tower in the middle of it. The views from the top are amazing. http://visitbristol.co.uk/things-to-do/cabot-tower...

A couple of hours well spent...regardless of what age you are

Did the museum, cathedral, the Georgian House, Cabot Tower (bad weather so not the best views but good fun!), ColstonHall comedy night on saturday. Saved the ss Great Britain for last, thanks for the tip on the Hole in the Wall, great food & friendly staff (bar one).

Got to go back to do the rest now, OH still hasn't seen the suspension bridge in four visits!
