We did the dolphin swimming there- it is out in the ocean but in a man made enclosure if that makes sense.
it was actually the best dolphin swimming I have done( done it three times now).

an Absolute must is a trip to Saona Island. We loved it. Catamaran there. time on the island and then speed boats back to land which takes about 45mins.

Dolphins, it looks like you have done the same dolphin swim we've looked into, glad it gets your approval, really looking forward to swimming with dolphins.

We done all this too , the inland jeep safari is a real eye opener , beware the witch doctors , great fun , but remember Voodoo is still practiced on the island , the Punta cana beach is truly epic if you just go beyond the hotel borders , only bug bear is that you cannot go out of the complex at night , too dangerous they say , oh & make sure you try the muma wuma give you amazing erections , the trip to Saona is great as said above

any more views on DR? never been and thinking of going here end of november - will be there or jamaica or cuba

any views? we're fairly well travelled but have a 2 year old with us and want nice beach but not a huge resort chav place - character would be good but on the beach more important!
