Going to rent a villa in the Girona area of Spain (Calonge probably), end of Sept for 10 days & was wondering whether pool heating is a must have?

I think daytime temps should be mid 20s, but nights might be a bit cooler so an unheated pool might be a bit bracing in the mornings?

Any experiences PH?

I've just come back from cabanyes (next to calonge). The last few days the weather turned with clouds and mid 20's temperatures, windy nights also. What I can say is the last day sun came out and so jumped straight in pool and Crickey had it cooled. Must of dropped 3 degrees easily and felt cold. I'd say yes to heater, we stayed in same villa year before when there summer wasn't the best and had pool heater on. Cost a few quid in leccy though.

I recall a holiday a few years back at the end of May, in the Girona region, and the pool was like an ice bath despite the temperature being in the late 20's to early 30's for the month previously.
