Can you spare me a second and help with the below please?
If you were looking to go for a nice luxurious weekend/week away with some friends/family which one of the below would you pick?
For the sake of this exercise lets say they are all the exact same price and location wasnt an issue.
Any comments also welcome!

I'd go abroad.
I do agree but I am thinking about getting family or friends together from all over the country who couldn't afford to fly away somewhere.Or for a nice winter Christmas get together.
These type of houses are only about £3000 for a 4 day weekend so that's only about £150-£200 each.

we did something similar up in scotland near stirling recently. definitely a good way to do family get-togethers.Or for a nice winter Christmas get together.

will there be many children going? if so, go for the child friendly one. worrying about ids breaking things can ruin a holiday.
Kid friendly is definitely important if that is an issue for you...as is the living space I'd take the place withj bigger and better kitchen/living/entertaining space.
If all three were equal I'd take the palce in Surrey/Sussex because the weather in the South East is better...it's definitely drier.

If I were you I would take a look at Unique Home Stays as well! Some lovely properties through them and for what I see as VERY reasonable prices!

Pole dancing in the party room = win!
That was the only thing putting me off property 1 as a family choice. Made me wonder just how much other tackiness would be hiding under the surface! Had it not been for that, it would've been a no-brainer compared to the other two, even if it is on the Surrey/Sussex border (and that's only because I live in Surrey, so would've preferred to explore somewhere new).Pole dancing in the party room = win!
I think the people suggesting going abroad for a long weekend are insane if there are any young kids going.

Why?It's also far, far more expensive than driving to somewhere in the UK, and whilst I can easily justify the extra cost of flying out to somewhere nice if it's just me and my wife, the kids couldn't care less if their climbing frame, woodland walk, bouncy castle or whatever is in Bangkok or Bognor, so why go to the extra expense and hassle?
Also worth considering that the beer won't be as good anywhere else!
