The OH is travelling on holiday to Morocco in December with one of her girlfriends.

What problems if any is she likely to face over there from the locals?

A colleauge told me his wife couldn't leave her hotel room within her resort when she went with a friend due to non stop sexual harrasment.

I ask because she is on the 'chesty' side so to speak. She gets hassle over here so I can only see it being 10x worse.

Can be hard work tbh.

I went with the gf a few years back and felt it a little bothersome. Wouldn't expect it to be an issue in the more modern areas, however venture into the Medinas/Souks and things can be quite different. If accompanied by a guy, should be ok. On own, significant unwanted attention.

Don't be surprised if groping occurs in the busy Souks! Plus if she's the kind who dislikes 'lecherous' eyes', I would really avoid!

My advice is to cover up, minimise the bare shoulders/legs.

My girlfriend went with a friend a couple of years ago. Wouldn't go back because of all the hassle she got. The thing is, there's plenty of nice places to visit where you won't get hassled by idiots, so why bother with it?

She will be seriously pissed off by it, especially if she is a big girl as they do touch/grope and will blatently stare and even follow, and even worse if she is Blonde.

I have been 3 times with my wife and friends and never let our women out of our sight because of the hassle they get.

Pretty much what I thought then. As I said, she gets groped enough over here.

Not a big girl but she is a size 12 with a 36G bra. Apparently her friend has bought her a maxi dress to wear over there (seriously wtf?).

I've told her to bring the morning after pill vomit

That's not going to go well. I assume when you say "maxi dress" we're merely talking about long, but still showing cleavage?

Exactly.

Apparently this one is cut at neck height which helps a little but you can't hide what is there so to speak.

I've advised she wear a head scarf or at least tie her hair up but she isn't interested in listening.

Oh well, not a lot to be done really. You could start grabbing her arse around the house randomly to get her used to it?

Went there on my honeymoon many years ago,and the wife was leered and shouted at an awful lot,she wouldn't even go out to get my medicine when I got a bad case of food poisoning as it was that bad.
Although I did get offered 20 camels and a bar of gold for her....should have taken them up on the offerbiggrin

She'll be fine in Marrakech - they rely on tourists so we found them to be polite and helpful when there in March - two ous were blondes, but we did have chaps in the group so that may have helped. You should cover up arms and shoulders though out of respect to their customs if nothing else.

No ide what other areas of the country are like.

I went to Marrakech in March with tow girls; one very blonde, long-haired, well-proportioned ( smile ) and the other Indian.

All had a great time, but to our great surprise the blonde wasn't given any hassle at all; the Indian girl, on the other hand, had hassle galore at every possible opportunity! She wasn't upset, but it somewhat spoiled our plans to sell the blonde to an Arab as a wife and hence get a free holiday ....

I took my (then) wife and 15 year old daughter there approx. 10 years ago.

The hassle was relentless. It didn’t matter that I was there, as far as the local lads were concerned I was invisible.

My daughter was tallish, dark haired and fair skinned, and was just starting to bud. My ex was dark haired, olive skinned, not old enough to be my daughters mother and had a rather large chest. The biggest surprise to me was that they gave my daughter the most grief.

It took the edge off the holiday (split between coast and cities) as it became quite stressful. I also heard my daughter swear for the first time when she completely lost it with someone who couldn’t keep his hands to himself. I had to intervene as I thought she was going to kill him.

That’s my girl.

If they are prepared for it, they will have a great time as it’s a lovely country. They will need to be pretty thick skinned though

To reiterate the above, if you can be bothered with the hassle, it's an interesting country with brilliant photo opportunities.

I will say, of all the countries the gf and I have visited, Morocco was the only one we've been glad to get back from and in all honesty have little desire in visiting again.

Interesting views. We went to Marrakech and loved it, we had no hassle there at all.

Tunisia on the other hand...

Friends of mine went to Essouiera a few months ago (3x 25 year old girls, brunette & blonde) said that they had no trouble at all there and absolutley loved it. From looking at the pictures, they didnt cover up at all.

I went with hubby for honeymoon to Agadir (meant to have been also visiting Marrakech but didnt in the end due to terrible Campylabacter food poisening) and had no trouble at all either. I covered up a bit whilst outside of the resort, but not as much as I would expect I would need to in Marrakech.

My sister went with a friend to a nice hotel / resort and sitting by the pool it was absolutely non-stop harrasment from all the local men.

They were there for one week and only went out to town once as it was even worse.

Problems from all the men over there? Non-stop harrasment.

I've been to Morocco for the past two years for Christmas and having read what I had on the web, expected to be spat at / groped / hassled on every street corner. I'm blonde, and busty, so was expecting hassle.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Morocco (these days) is a modern, civilised country. People are respectful and polite.

Most Moroccan women in cities aren't veiled and I saw plenty of flesh on show, however as a visitor I'd stick to long trousers and long sleeves.

Tying back long hair and wearing a hat are probably good ideas, but you'd want to do that anyway because of the strength of the sun.
