[Bit of a Unit]

Just about to book a couple of weeks here in July for a family break. Santa Maria, Melia tortuga.

Any one been before? Just wondering about exchanging currency, local restaurants etc.

Hotel seems spot on for our needs but I do like an adventure and certainly do not want to remain anchored to the resort for a fortnight.

Any tips/suggestions gratefully received
