We have the family day out thread, do we have a dirty weekend thread yet?

I would start with the crazy bear hotel, I have not stopped there yet but it's on my list.

The hotels are brilliant as is the members club in Covent Garden
As a member, you can also get some brilliant last minute deals (subject to availability)

My idea of a 'dirty weekend' is a simple bothy with a wood-burning stove, somewhere remote. Just us.

(No mosquitoes, obviously.)

Hotels, especially those with heavy furnishings and four-poster beds, fill me with horror. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's 'other people's dirt'.

The accretions of ages / who else fked here? Yuck.

Took the girlfriend to the Blythswood square hotel for a night and it was fantastic, the spa is out of this world.
