Pub near newquay/ padstow for a family

Off to Cornwall next week with some friends for a week, 6 kids in total from ages 3 to 14, wondered if anyone could recommend a pub which isn't too far from Watergate bay around the Newquay/ Padstow area. Wouldn't mind a little play ground to the kids and a bit of entertainment would be a bonus
