Hotel in Manchester
Discussion
I've given up on hotel rooms now and just book serviced apartments. You can get them at the same price, and there's more space to do what you want to. It's also a benefit to me to be able to use a kitchen, some people like having a hotel restaurant or eat out, whichever. I just find it a bit more spacious and more like home than hiding away on the 8th floor of somewhere
Aparthotel Manchester in Deansgate wouldnt be a bad shout if you want to be based that way and fancied a mix of apartment and hotel

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
I've decided that staying in the centre of Manchester would probably drive me mental traffic wise, so I've booked into The Village hotel in Ashton.
Sad times. I more or less live in the city centre now and the traffic really isn't that bad.I've decided that staying in the centre of Manchester would probably drive me mental traffic wise, so I've booked into The Village hotel in Ashton.

Are you driving over Karl, and if so, do you still have the Audi cab???
Nope, flying over.Eldest daughter still has the Cabrio, she's crashed it three times so far, sturdy old car
Once even into Mrs Adenauer's Golf
Escargot, thanks for confirming that I've made the wrong choice

Oh. Good Luck! If it is then I'll change it.
I'm sure it'll be character building anyway
