Christmas break in London - hotel suggestions?
Discussion
Looking to stay for 2/3 nights in central ish London just before Christmas (20th) as a little break. I've visited maybe a dozen times before and seen most major sites, but the missus hasn't and wants to do the usual - shopping, some museums , a show, etc.
Anyone got any suggestions of centrally located hotels which are decent? Budget up to 100 per night for the hotel stay, approximately.

The Grange Hotel at Tower Bridge is usually very good value. Sometimes it has hen parties etc. as I think it is one of the secret last minute ones, but you can usually get the same price on their site anyway, plus they'll usually upgrade you if you haven't booked with last minute but on their site.
It's (obviously) close to Tower Bridge, which means Knightsbridge etc. can be a bit of a trek away, but it's a beautiful hotel with a nice pool / spa in the basement.

This is normally my choice if the price is right, good location, tube right next door, London park to walk round in the morning, good pub next door and decent Chinese or Indian on Broadway (5min walk up the road).
