Timely thread.....
We're (wife plus 14 & 11yr old) visiting Phucket + Khaolak in April next year for the 1st time, one week in each with 2 days in Khao Sok National park trekking rafting, etc.
All other trips we're planning to book when there, apparently there's more choice and it's cheaper. Any good suggestions for trips / days out? (diving is also on the agenda)
I'm now looking at Khao Sok tours... they look awesome! We're (wife plus 14 & 11yr old) visiting Phucket + Khaolak in April next year for the 1st time, one week in each with 2 days in Khao Sok National park trekking rafting, etc.

Given the track record with helicopters, and pilots in Thailand, you are a braver man than me getting in one of them there
In order to keep retired army pilots in a job (the ones that make it to retirement), only Thai's can be Commercial Helicopter pilots.
The Thai Army / Airforce is down to 2 helicopters at last count because they keep breaking down / being crashed by their pilots ....
Their track-record is not exactly up there ....
