Best Luggage for business travel

Back in the day I had call to use the warranty on a couple of their rucksacks and they always replaced without questions.
But their bags look a bit more gap year than business trip to me.
I don't really get this 'business luggage' thing surely the best bag/case for travel is whatever meets your requirements rather than what it looks like. But their bags look a bit more gap year than business trip to me.
I have been using a berghaus mule for several years for both business and personal travel and while it is showing a bit of wear at the bottom it is still fully functionable, when it eventually holes I will get another.

Bought Samsonite about a year ago and it's fked already. They've gone way downhill since the 90s, they were like the Mercedes of suitcases back then. Not Mercedes of the 90s clearly.
Which Samsonite did you buy?TravelPro.

Mine is 15 years old and still going strong. They were originally, not sure about now, designed by a Pilot so the cases come with lots of useful pockets, in logical places and lots of other well thought out locations of zippers, toiletry hangers, elastic straps etc.

I've got a couple of long haul trips coming up this year, so feel like I should get myself a new suitcase, as I've borrowed them for my last few trips.
Borrowing cases means that I have been able to work out what I want:
4 wheels - My trips to Japan usually involve 3 trains, 2 planes and 2 taxis door to door, and 4 wheels are much better in the Tokyo stations.
Hardside - I quite often have sample electronics from work in my case.
Black - Although it is easy to spot my girlfriend's blue case on the conveyor, it isn't very business-like!
Budget is £200 tops, as although it is mainly for business trips, I'm paying for it myself.
The front runner is the new Samsonite Neopulse (the one that is on their TV advert), but I'm open to other suggestions.
Not having had a hard case before, are zips or clamps better? And is it better to get a smaller case and cram stuff in, or get a slightly bigger one and leave stuff rattling around inside?
I've ended up with a Samsonite S'cure 69cm, I had some Amazon vouchers to use up, so it only cost me £20. I've got 4 flights in the next 10 days, so will be giving it a good test.Borrowing cases means that I have been able to work out what I want:

Well I'm not sure if Samsonite or KLM are to blame, but I wasn't expecting the plastic on the hinges to have worn through after just one trip. I'm thinking KLM were particularly rough with it, as it still looked brand new after 2 flights with Air France.
That is just a little scratch! There is a metal rod in the hinge, and the plastic will grind down a bit on the end, but it isn't a issue.Mine are gouged massively after monthly long haul flights to the us and doestic there usually 25kg and over (and one case slide 2 stories down an escalator when I lost my grip of one case - lucky no one was on it as it flew down at great speed and smashed into a barrier at the end) and they shurg them off. They are the heavier more rigid Samsonites.
Don't know about a comparison because I've never had a Victorinox case. I've had my quite large (say good for 1-2 weeks) Briggs & Riley case for maybe 15 years now and it looks as good as new, even though it's been everywhere in the period, probably over 100 flights, say.
It is pricey: I think the case costs about £550 full price now. I don't know about discounts anywhere. Briggs & Riley products have a lifetime guarantee so this should be a once only purchase.

Good grief! £645 for a carry on wheely bag?!
Yep, or pay £100 and replace it every 6 months. If you travel a lot then they are worth every penny. I used to fly long haul pretty much every week and after 3 years mine is still like new and if anything does break, they will repair FoC.Completely disagree. Unfortunately, this'll look like I'm willy waving, but I typically do 100k+ miles a year. So far this year, since January, I've done just over 40k miles on both long and short haul andI've got a pretty intensive few weeks coming up that will put me on just over 70k miles By the end of April, so I'm no stranger to frequent travelling!! My wife also travels about 30k miles a year and we are still on our 5 year old Antler cases for both carry on and hold luggage and they've got plenty of life left in them. I agree it's worth buying a decent brand over something from BagsRus but there is absolutely no reason to pay £600+ for a wheely bag.
