The lake looked very familiar to me but never seen the fork. I Googled it and turns out I've driven past it several times lol.

Oh, I know the name of the lake, and the approximate location (NE end of the lake) but I can't remember the name of the town without resorting to Google

there are 103 lakes in Switzerland according to Wiki, i suppose we can start listing them until we get it, or maybe,
as no-one seems to know, tell us and maybe post another?

if we're guessing i'll start,Lake Geneva? laughlaugh

It's Vevey. A really lovely town that Charlie Chaplin retired to.

i only put Lake Geneva because it was top of the wiki list!

Someone else can go as i'm away for next 10 days or so.

If you ever find yourself driving along Lake Geneva I'd recommend it over any of the other towns. There is also a great service station - Relais Saint-Bernard close by - that even serves horse & frites.

Yup wink The profile's very distinctive. One of my favourite Welsh hills, even though the scramble before the 'notch' always makes me twitch a bit!

We were up there with the kids in 40 mph gusts which was entertaining.
