South West? Bristol-ish?
has a bit of a look of the hills to the south, but struggling to work out anything noteworthy to even take the picture in the first place!
Correct that it is South Westhas a bit of a look of the hills to the south, but struggling to work out anything noteworthy to even take the picture in the first place!

Was there a tall chimney thereabouts until fairly recently?
A week or 3 before I took the photo God almighty, I'm sure I should know this, the area looks soooo familiar. South west you say, this is really bugging me as the furthest south west I go is Glastonbury, and of course Stonehenge.
Looking at the horizon, the escarpment is so like the escarpment by Cheltenham it's uncanny, but looking just left of it there's a weird pimple on the horizon so it ain't that area. The pimple does look like Glastonbury tor but you say south west, which to me is Devon and beyond.
Just by chance, is your interpretation of south west and my interpretation of south west completely different, and we are in fact in the very far north east part of the south west, like Somerset/Wiltshire? Thinking logically, a cement works wouldn't be anywhere other than limestone or chalk hills. South west is granitey and not chalkey.
I'm confused so I'm out.
