Ignoring that mad bird on my hand I am on a Duchy of Cornwall Estate but where? A few miles in front of me is a famous thermal spa.

The bird is called Charlie and the fella in the pic is called Jay.

Probably near Newquay .... spa might be Bedruthan. So you are doing a falconry thing..... can’t remember the name without google help but it is somewhere outside Newquay..... near St Columb?

Charlie is indeed a harris hawk. Poor bugger the wind was high and rain so soggy hawk.

The owls were indoors so that was good.

This is Ghost the barn Owl, Caroline's favorite owl of the set we got to fly.

I put a pic of one of the owls above as you were posting, it was a fantastic experience and a great day out.

There is a cafe onsite and a farm shop and we love a nice farm shop.
