Well done.

Yes it’s the view of Clew Bay from Croagh Patrick. John Lennon owned one of the wee islands in the bay. It’s mad that pilgrims make the walk to the top of Croagh Patrick barefoot, i was knackered doing it in proper footwear.

I gave a few subtle “clews” which may have been missed.

That's spectacular (Not the bridge). My F&SiL are planning to do it this year, I'm almost tempted to join them (God and footwear notwithstanding...)

Re the bridge: Madison County?? wink

Nee-naw nee-naw.....maybe!

Don’t know the rationale but I guess it is very photographed vista so maybe they decided to put a pre made legend for across the bottom of everyone’s photos?

It’s a beautiful part of the world. Can get a bit busy on some of the dedicated pilgrimage days, but otherwise fairly peaceful.

Looks like snow run-off water, so you might be on to something (or not!)
