Sorry Reg you need to read the rules, the person that guesses by being close or having been on holiday to the same place will be allowed to post, sometime we post clues or offer it to google clues.

But once you have guessed correctly you may post a picture.

The "Summit complex" on the Great Orme used to be a hotel - is that where the plaque is?

The plaque is on the portico to what was the front door. It's now a cafe. The tram up is quite fun and it's a good walk round Marine Drive, about 7km. There's another cafe by the old lighthouse at the head itself

To answer my question, yes it is (from Town History):

In 1952 Randolph Turpin became the licensee of Randy's Bar at the summit of the Great Orme until 1961

A clue - the wreck was a British steamer sunk in 1876.

Water is too clear for English channel, or any UK waters for that matter. I did notice the coral growing on the hull of the ship as being a tropical coral, so we're somewhere like the caribbean or red sea.

Other than that, you're under water AICMFP
