Is this the one literally 2 miles north of Bayeux, where that bit of snazzy needlepoint is on display?
Can't remember the name, without google. La Grande Boomaboom-sur-mer or something.
Someone will get the name. Sadly not me....
Batterie de Longues Sur Mer.

One of he D-day beaches? I will guess at Juno
Edited, I think I know, but I needed google's help t narrow it down. Went there when I was about 15 but had no idea of the name. We toured all of the beaches that summer and had D-day history lectures from Dad for 3 weeks!
A non googler needs to work it out
It's along the 'normandy beaches' coastline, and not far from Juno, but it's not at one of the actual beachesEdited, I think I know, but I needed google's help t narrow it down. I wouldn't have got the name without google, stopped there several years ago on a family tour of the Normandy war graves and then on to Bayeux to oogle and salivate over some 950 year old snot rag.Batterie de Longues Sur Mer.
