Laptop ban on flights from certain Muslim countries?

That is what it looks like to me. Maybe there will be massive demonstrations by religious sympathisers.....ala Trump banning travellers from much the same countries.

Anyway, this is going to be inconvenient for people who take only hand luggage, or need to work while travelling. Or who simply don't trust their check in baggage to arrive on one piece. Plus there are restrictions on the value of items you are supposed to check in.

So, if you are in Turkey or Morocco right now, or Egypt, or Saudi, on yer hols, re-think your packing plans when you return home.

Royal pain in the arse. Im in east Africa due to travel through Cairo to Heathrow. 2 laptops, only hand luggage. not keen on checking them in since in this part of the world it not exactly uncommon to loose luggage or have bags opened with things going missing.

Still if theres a credible threat I would rather they acted to ensure we are safe.
