I've just returned back from a 12 day break in Abu Dhabi. All I have to say is, what an amazing place and if anyone is looking to visit there, then do not hestitate to.

Is that a photo of the kart track at Yas Marina?
I had a day trip to Abu Dhabi from Dubai, had a good day but wasn't sure if there was a weeks holiday there or not.

My pick would be the St Regis on Saadiyat Island.

Much nicer beach.

Totally agree with 6th gear, emirates palace chintzy bling hole ideal for people impressed by too much gold.

St Regis is a much classier place & very relaxing to spend time if your into beach life, with taxis more or less peanuts everywhere is cheap to get too with plenty of top class relaxed shopping outlets restaurant s & things to do & see within 20 mins or so.

We have been going to Abu in preference to Dubai for years now, just a much classier place to holiday.
