Tour of Schotland: Want to join V12 Aston? Any tips?

Hi guys,
have really been looking forward to make a grand tour around the majestic scenery of the highlands for quite some time now.
Will arrive per ferry in Edinburgh and would like to include Loch Fyne and Inveraray and later through the old military road A93, A939 and B976 to the NC500.
Does any one have some pointers or knows of nice places I should visit along the way? I am very interested in authentic stuff/B&B's/restaurants and more specific seafood and local specialties.
Let me know if anyone would like to join for the entire stretch or for a part of the route. Will probably be taking my 6.0 manual DBS, with full sport exhaust incl. headers less cats...
Any advice more then welcome, last time I was in Schotland I was only 6... Which is a few decades ago really...
