Within an hour the main circuit fuse blew due to the load. The property manager didn’t know where the fuse box was and couldn’t help. After two hours I tracked down the box. Unfortunately, fridge food had to be thrown away.
How on earth do you handle real life? Two hours to find a fuse box!
You threw food away because the fridge was not working in a freezing cottage.
I think renters also need to remember its a property you are renting and, like your own property, things break or go wrong. What makes the difference though is what the owner does to resolve the problem... or what you can do yourself to help (like you would at home). The owners may not visit the property that regularly so may not know about issues if no one mentions them!

And a holiday let isn't hotel accommodation. Whilst you wouldn't expect a guest to wash their towels and bedding, they shouldn't leave the place with dirty crockery and rubbish in internal bins. Gassing Station | Holidays & Travel | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
