How to pay Portuguese E-toll after the event
Discussion
Hi
I've just spent a few days riding through Portugal (on my UK registered motorbike) blissfully unaware of the electronic tolls (ie the toll roads with no physical toll booths).
Is there a way of paying what I owe online?
I have spent an hour or so googling this with no luck. Most advise not to do anything on the basis that the Portuguese authorities don't chase foreign vehicles for payment. But I'm happy to pay if there's a way of doing so.
Thanks!

Scroll down to 'Foreign License Plate Vehicles'. There is a call centre number. You could ring them and ask.
Although the FAQ's suggest foreign vehicles cannot post pay.

I’ve only ever paid at the local post office over there after giving them the reg number on a Portuguese hire car. Chap next door drives there annually, he says you need to register when entering Portugal and give them your reg which then debits your card. That is only valid for a month.
I wouldn’t be surprised if no never heard anything though, their admin is pretty poor!
