Nothing, you're allowed 200 each smile I accidentally had 40 in my hand luggage I had forgotten about as well, as I smoke when I'm on holiday and they didn't take them off me.
Cool thumbup

Ive decided to find the nearest carrefour to maximise the chances of the cigs being genuine.
If you're buying more than 200 they will all come wrapped, similar to this (ignore the fact the pack is split, this wasn't a secret stash I kept from the missus)

Sorry, I’m possibly missing something. There are 4 of us over 18 (me, Mrs C and my 2 eldest). AIUI we can each bring through a carton of 10pkx20, and each carton is £60-£70 cheaper than in the UK.

What are HMRC going to impound? confused
I misunderstood - yes you are fine with that.

Ok - a Turkish shave in the hotel is €15 apparently- how much is it likely to be in town and is there any risk of ending up with hepatitis or septicaemia?

I had a couple of shaves in Kyrenia. Still alive and well it seems. Cost was 10 & 12 TL

I had one in Belek, can't remember the price, but it didn't seem expensive. Got an energetic neck and shoulder massage thrown in too.

That's hugely expensive, TL15 would be closer and no, in my experience the hygiene is normally excellent.

Hmmm... well, I had a shave and a haircut.... 130TL frown

Can’t really complain about the quality and to be honest I was in a bit of a rush so I CBA haggling or shopping around.;Head shave, face shave, eyes/ears/nose all trimmed/waxed/singed. Maybe a lesson for next time if I’m supposed to be paying nearer 15Tl. smile

Cigarettes were quite cheap - 550Tl for 3 sleeves of Marlboro red, and boxes of Turkish delight were 30TL each. It was surprising that Carrefour were as cheap as the tourist market stalls. Weirdly the market stalls seem more expensive than the shops and less willing to haggle.

Anyway, thanks for all the advice. Back in merrie old England in a couple of days smile
