It looks lovely, I have never been there, but my daughter has.

I have nothing to hand so if someone else would like a turn please feel free.

Well spotted Junior D, the photo was taken by my flight attendant daughter from Virgin Atlantic VS29 as it circled over Seaford, it shows the beach and the entrance to Newhaven Harbour.

The planes nav system had apparently gone tech and they were waiting to land back at Gatwick, she texted my wife and said look up and the second pic is the one my wife took from our roof terrace.

I thought the second photo was just for a joke hehe

Is that the first time we've supplemented a "where was I" from the third person? biggrin

Don't laugh!

Original Severn Bridge?

(In my defence - it was said to be an easy one - and I was looking on my phone while out in the snow with the dog!)

OK, to stretch it a little further - which bridge?

ETA you can tell from the picture if you look closely

ok - so we know it's a bridge in Instanbul, how much assistance is "allowed" from here?

I've found it - but should we have seen it with our own eyes previously?
Or is google maps allowed to get us to the exact point?

Protocol (not rules) is typically that someone will pop up who knows which one it is, but if not, after a while someone will google it but since they googled give it to you as the correct guesser, iyswim smile

Is that a fair summary, compadres?

Yep - pretty much as I understood!

Hence why I've kept the answer for this one to myself for the moment.

Well there's only 2 and you can't see the other one so it should be quite obvious (been over it many times, wonderful views)..

You can actually see the towers of the other one (albeit barely, it was a very grey day!).

And there is now a third Bosphorus bridge, opened in 2016 or 17 I think, albeit that's much further north up by the Black Sea Entrance.

So, which one is it hehe?

We've had number 1 and the middle one so I'll go for number 3. One of us has to be right.

Well, quite!

It's actually the second bridge, the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge. Which along with the new tunnel makes getting from my office in Maslak to clients in Gemlik and Bursa a (relative) breeze.

I think MYOB should probably take the win, because my clue made it pretty obvious (sorry Fluffsri!).
