This means I have paid only the original BA avios and tax amounts.... of course no sooner had I got that sorted for my cancelled flight on the 8th, then I get through the notification that my flight for another trip on the 27th is cancelled!
At least this time I got through to the phone line and rebooked for the following day... still to be confirmed if that one they'll cover my extra night in a hotel and extended car hire... they said that despite cancelling the flights on the 27th, they had not yet released internally to their call centres what the compensation policy is.
