I'm flying out of T3 in Sept, mid morning on a Monday and am looking for a hotel for the night before. Something like a Holiday Inn will be fine (I have their membership points card). Ideally I'd like a breakfast too. Also will need a ride to T3. I just called the Holiday Inn and they said their shuttle is 6 Pounds. Looking at the Heathrow site, it seems there is a free travel zone around the airport?
Any recommendations from anyone who's done it recently/regularly? Ideally 100-130 pounds all in. Just one adult, no rental car.

I’ve just spent three weeks in the Radisson Blu on Bath Road. Close to the perimeter free shuttle bus route and decent hotel close to the terminals. Looks like it could be in your price range

There is, but unfortunately the buses are often full so you can't get on - as I found at 5.45 on a Sunday morning when two buses sailed past absolutely rammed solid. Fortunately Uber solved the problem. That was from the Premier Inn at T4 (connected by a covered walkway and perfectly fine at about £60).

The Holiday Inn - Heathrow Ariel is the only one within the free travel zone, it runs along the Bath Road for about a mile, just hop on the normal bus to central bus station

Perhaps we are at cross purposes.

Here is another link listing the hotels with free bus travel (scroll down a little bit).

You clearly have no taste as the Indian is better than the Chinese and did you really use that “c” word to describe a Chinese restaurant?

Thanks for the comments. Ended up booking the Holiday Inn Express at T4. Buffet brekkie included, take the walkway to T4 and the free Heathrow Express to T 3, job done.

I'm coming from the US for the Goodwood Revival, then a week in the west country.

I was going to suggest that, i've stayed at the Premier Inn at T4 twice before flying to the States
