Dynotech in Hillington are good, but you need to have the patience of a saint though so best to put it in before the summer season kicks off. Oh, and live local, he's notorious for not answering the phone, not in a bad way, just too busy... and can talk the hind legs off a donkey...

100% cannot agree with that. Avoid at all costs I say.

Post it to Ktech

I've heard similar, I posted mines to Ktech. I also think he's something like £120 for a suspension setup, which is eye watering.

I've used Eddy @ knockhill for 3 of my bikes now.

Found him to be great, sent a few people up to him as well.. never heard a bad thing about him.

Set my bikes up for less than £120 too... not sure if his prices have went up from a couple of years ago.

On the other hand, tried hard to work with the guys in Hillington... they were very much "we haven't done that before, but will test on your bike"

Eh, no you fking well won't... ended up doing the work myself.

K-Tech recently quoted me £40 for a setup. (I live near them so quite handy!)

shock is off bike

however it seems to contravene royal mail's restricted items due to big explosive sticker (far left)

https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app/answers/de...

who to post with that doesn't object to high pressure gas in a shock?

I’ve sent my shocks with Royal Mail before and it’s never been questioned. It’s usually returned via DPD so you could try them.

What shock is it and who did you decide to send it to?

2002 R1

was getting some interesting wear patterns on the rear tyre last time I was at donnington, it's done about 35k so is more than overdue a service given that I reckon it's never been off the bike

MCT (just because I've bought a spring off them before which did the trick - different bike)

will see what dpd say

woman in local post office very clearly stated that it's RM policy not to carry such things

Just don’t ask. Put it in a box and tell them it’s bike parts if they ask.
