with a difference in distance of 6km between London and Paris that would put the place some where on a line perpendicular to a line between Paris and London. Rome being further away would mean the place is on that Perpendicular wish line to the west of Paris. That puts it in the middle of the Atlantic some where so I will now guess the Azores

Edit: think the distances are off...Amsterdam can't be closer than Paris and London...plus the door-sign in Spanish, the Llama, and the flag which is...???

I've got a photo of the same style sign taken in the Daintree NP so it must be that area.

Further north - could be Cape Tribulation?

For some reason I thought Kakadu (no, I have no idea why.. brain is f#cked.. the NP bit perhaps)

So east coast QLD, a day from Cairns, north enough to be in croc country but not more north than Cape Tribulation because you're not in a 4WD.

Maybe Port Douglas? Can't think how far from Cairns that is.

Townsville is about 4-5 hrs from Cairns, but I also think that’s where you are - the beach to the north of the town?
