Get your self to Heierling in Davos for boots - it's just behind the BMW dealer at the foot of the Fluela.
Thanks for the tip Andrew. I was thinking of going to the boot lab in Meribel, so that we can do adjustments while I’m there, but will take a look.

Flaine would be another option about an hour from Geneva...
Having skied Flaine quite a bit, I personally wouldn't recommend going there at Feb half-term - it's mental busy, which usually means packed slopes and long left queues.

Is that not the same everywhere at half term?

Yes, in most resorts in France, but not in Lech (and potentially other resorts in Austria).

It's why I always used to go to Lech over New Year - in most resorts in France it was jam-packed after 0930 at New Year.

Think you might struggle a little already .
Really? I thought I was being clever by getting in 6 months early but are you seeing resorts fully booked up?
Possibly not for your budget, but as always if something is desirable it will get booked earlier rather than later.

Hi guys, I'm looking to book somewhere for next February half-term now if possible, in case places start getting fully booked.
I'd probably get a wriggle on, especially if you're picky. Many regular half term skiers basically start looking/booking for the next year the Monday after they return from the current one.

I've got 3 kids and we are all beginner level and would all want want 1-to-1 tuition.
Not sure if you mean 3 children => 1 private instructor or 3 children => 3 private instructors but either way I'd not hang around getting the lessons booked either, especially if you want a specific ski school/instructor based on SH recommendations. For half term even group ski schools get fully booked and run out of spaces so the situation for private instructors is even worse/book up sooner.

None of that is to say "You're too late", just don't procrastinate too much longer... smile
