Motor home pub crawl is going splendidly. 3 days in and two lovely pubs visited so far, both have proper pitches with electric and water hookups so no need to slum it. Norfolk weather has been fantastic and we’ve done some great walks along the coast. Then of course we’ve had a few beers and an evening meal in the pub. Perfect so far!

New 6 berth camper was £950 for the week and the pitch is £20 per night.

We went to Whitby last week for a week - it was weather worthy of Spain. Lovely little cottage. Did tons of eBiking, drinking, eating, walking etc etc.

The weather really made it.

However in leaving my car parked in baking hot sun getting shat on by seagulls I appear to have ruined the lacquer on my car bonnet.

We had a week in the Lake District last year after New York & Croatia were canned. This year, we have had a week at homes with days out, timed it right for the weather, and Isle of Wight in August.

But I am gagging for another European city break!

So - just as well I didn't decide to use my Italian flight & hotels vouchers this year - Italy has just imposed a 5 day quarantine restriction on all UK travellers. so it doesn't matter what the UK government does....wonder if other countries will follow....

And now Portugal had done just that....is anyone thinks travel to Europe is going to be simple then they are ignoring the current direction of travel (excuse the pun).....
