Need 4 rooms near Solihull.
Discussion
In November 2019, I booked via Hotels.com a hotel in Solihull for the night before my son's wedding thst was to be in July.
5 rooms. (Staying at the actual reception on the night After the wedding.
Managed to cancel and get money back (wasn't a refundable rate, but they were closed. And wedding was postponed.
In December I booked the am a hotel for the end of next week. 3 rooms for 1 night, 2 room for 2 nights.
Get an email yesterday, from hotels.com telling me the hotel.is closed from.the 17th and our bookings are cancelled.
I phone the hotel. Not allowed to tell us why. But they have been told they are closed from.the 17th.
Ramada Solihul
My Gran used to frequent it for lunchtime meals with her retired friends in the 90s in her 90s (which is why I wanted to stay there I suspect.)
Anyway I need 4 rooms. One for 2 nights. (Best man And his girlfriend)
On one of the rooms I need a late check out. Wedding is the afternoon, but we need to get ready, and then check out.
So ideas?
Need breakfast and lunch too on the Saturday before we check out.

The Ramada? Is that the one that used to be the George Hotel? I haven’t been in Solihull much for about 12 years but The George was always quite a decent place.
You could try the much bigger hotel opposite Touchwood Court (Homer Rd). It’s got loads of rooms, and I doubt it’s booked up at the moment.
Irrelevant info, but I worked in the bar there as a student in the late 90s. It was always quite a nice place, although it’s probably been refurbed and rebranded a few times since then, so I’ve no idea what it’s like these days.

I met the current Mrs Doing there, you may have even served us beer and wine. (she was wearing a very snug brown pencil skirt) You could try the much bigger hotel opposite Touchwood Court (Homer Rd). It’s got loads of rooms, and I doubt it’s booked up at the moment.

If you ever had any spirits, I used to serve extremely generous measures, and also some horrendous made-up cocktails when it was quiet in the bar
