I'm looking to do a UK trip across to Bilbao or Santander then across through the picos to northern Portugal and then looping back to the port perhaps via the Pyrenees. Don't want to be driving every minute of every day but want to drive the best roads in 911 992 4S
Anyone got any good routes or hotel recommends ?
What's to see whilst we are traveling?
Is this as good as doing the Black Forest and Switzerland/austria?
Another user asked a similar question, then like a bloody legend documented his trip in a great write up in the same thread:Anyone got any good routes or hotel recommends ?

As per my questions above in 2021, we drove the Pyrenees in our R8.

This year we went down via the Picos to Portugal in the Cayman:

We've also done trips to Germany and Switzerland. The Pyrenees is my favourite so far out of all 4 trips but I am fairly obsessed with Spanish food so YMMV.

Missing the Picos, Serra de Estrella and Pyrenees. I hope it's not an interesting car!
Can't figure out Multi-quote.The route as mapped is 2,700 miles, but we'll be taking the mountain route from Logrono to Liencres (near Santander).
We did the Picos last year (2023) and the Pyrenees in 2020 (just as Covid kicked off). Not familiar with Serra de Estrella.
Car is a Maserati Gran Cabrio, so more suited to cruising than pounding the twisties. Also, we have 5 nights near Santander, 5 nights just south of Porto and 5 nights near Malaga, so there will be excursions from those places. However, the main goal is to explore the coastline.
